I'm so excited that you're interested in working together to bring your body back to where it works well with ease and function again!

What is the main idea of hypnosis?

Hypnotherapy is a heightened state of concentration and focused attention. Guided by a trained, certified hypnotist or hypnotherapist, hypnosis allows you to be more open to suggestions to making healthful changes in your perceptions, patterns, sensations, emotions, memories, thoughts or behaviors. Hypnosis guides you in gentle ways that your own unconscious directs for you. Our unconscious is connected to our emotional heart and is basically our control room and already knows ways to help guide us to new, deeper more useful ways to navigate our lives.

What does hypnosis feel like?

The way people typically describe the feeling of being hypnotized during hypnotherapy is to be in a calm, physically, and deeply mentally relaxed state. In this state, they are able to focus deeply on what they are thinking about. In fact, relaxation is key to all deeper states of awareness available to us. This is the first step Lin takes with you. To find, connect and anchor in a way for you to know and connect with deep relaxation. From Relaxation we can begin to move mountains and awareness arises that gives us options to transform ourselves.

Do people remember what happens during hypnosis?

Most people have the ability to remember everything that occurs when in hypnosis, although some may not always remember it all. Of course, there might be small trivial things that are forgotten.

Do you talk during hypnosis?

Rather, the state of a trance in hypnosis can be described as similar to sleep: People are in an intermediate state between being awake and being asleep. And because of this, people in hypnosis always have the choice to say one thing or the other, or even to simply remain silent. And that's perfectly okay!

Lin has worked with people recovering from cancer for many years in the medical profession and felt that people needed a caring listener as well as focused direction in connecting with themselves again after the trauma of breast cancer. Hypnotherapy is an amazing gift that she studied through Mind Valley and Certified with Paul Mc Kenna, one of the foremost healing hypnotherapists in the world.  She offers Hypnotherapy as an integrated part of her coaching sessions. When you sign up for a “Resilience Coaching Session” Then, you will enjoy Hypnotherapy as a part of your session, beginning with anchoring in deep relaxation and taking that relaxation with you as a tool wherever you go!

You Will feel great! Even a little qigong will put perky in your step!

Fatigue, exhaustion from chemo, radiation, decreased joint range of motion and cancer treatment affect your body, mind and spirit.  I felt like there must be ways to renew and regenerate the body and spirit that I could bring into my practice to help you. I've studied with 4 international and Qigong Grandmasters from California, Colorado, Minnesota and China. Yeah... I lived and studied Qigong in China!

Qigong comes in over 7000 forms and 3 main modalities. There is Competition Qigong, Athletic Qigong to stay very fit, and Healing Qigong. The forms presented are and will be Healing Qigong.

Healing Qigong is a gentle meditative Chinese exercise to stimulate and realign the energy meridians, increase immune function, connect with the natural healing and universal forces in nature and Mother nature, and to gently activate and lengthen the muscles, bones and tendons of the physical body.

The Qigong Videos are bonuses and are an included part of the Breast Cancer Self-MLD Program.

We will also go through some breathing and Energy Qigong movement in the free weekly Self-care MLD/ Qigong  Zoom classes.
